I was at Carleton University when Google launched in 1999, and I watched firsthand as information technology changed education in Canada, and how IT affected every business sector. I’ve seen adoption at all levels, from being just another number in the system to what it feels like designing systems with people as numbers.
Today, I lead the Sales Team, but I’m still active as the Client Success Manager at Kearns Technology where I apply all I’ve learned and new ideas that reach me through a dozen different mediums. I’m active in countless groups where I listen, participate and very often serve as guinea pig.
Before joining Kearns Technology, I worked in youth development programs with Crossroads for Kids and the Camp-Coca Cola Foundation in the USA and then as an English teacher and editor in Taiwan. This led to my position as Head of the English Education Research Department at HiStudy; an educational technology company in China. Upon my return to Canada, I started at Dapphaus in Quality Assurance, before becoming Director of Learning Experience in 2022. In my time with KTI, I have worked in delivery, client relations, and sales.
